Junior Game Programmer
JOB DESCRIPTION
TECMO KOEI CANADA Inc. is seeking Junior Game Programmers to join our growing development team at our office in downtown Toronto on a contract basis with the opportunity for contract extension or full-time permanent employment.
As a Junior Game Programmer, you will work with senior Game Programmers to learn the various tools and techniques involved with game and tool coding. Areas you can be involved in include, but are not limited to, AI, physics engines, sound, networking and graphics.
Note: If you are an expectant graduate, you must be graduated from an accredited University or College as of September 1st, 2011 in order to be considered for employment within 2011. Hiring for 2012 will take place the following year.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent JavaScript programming skills
- Strong C++ programming skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant field
- Must provide a transcript from graduated University or College
- Self-motivated and accountable for all tasks undertaken
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Should demonstrate leadership potential
- Passionate about video games
- Valid permanent Canadian work status
